I don't see a sidebar in the Excel template/file I cannot drag documents onto the table I don't see a preview of the document in the document list Adding documents via email did not work Enable service for connected experiences

I downloaded the template and can't find the file

Have you downloaded the Excel template but can't find it anymore?

Sometimes the download completes very quickly, so your browser only displays a minimal notice.


If you downloaded the template using your mobile phone, switch to another device so that you can open the Excel file.


The Excel template is usually saved in your downloads folder. The location of the download folder depends on the operating system. If you decide to save the Excel template somewhere else, you will find it there.

Windows

  1. Open File Explorer via the taskbar, or press Windows-Key + E.

  2. Then choose under Quick access the option Downloads.

  3. Open the Excel template.

You can also find the Downloads folder under This PC.

macOS

  1. Open that Finder.

  2. Select the option in the sidebar Downloads, or press Option + Command + L.

  3. Open the Excel template.

Safari

  1. In the app “Safari“ click on the button “Show downloads” at the top right.
    If the list of downloads is empty, this button will not appear.

  2. In the list of downloads, click the magnifying glass icon next to the file name.

  3. Open the Excel template.

Chrome

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner and then click Downloads.

  3. Open the Excel template.
